Library Manager is a simple application to manage some common aspects of a library, the place to read books. 
The functions possible in this application software is as follows-

1) Recording an issue of a book. For example, the book "Chemistry Concepts", having book number "43334"(without quotes) is taken by a (student) reader in the library. 
He has to enter the book number and his roll/library card number into the software.

Afterwards, the librarian can check the confirmation message for the book number and the roll number of the student taking it.
This check can be excluded if the goodwill of the students is believed. The transaction is logged.

2) Checking the status of a book- Whether it is available for issue or not. The software can store all the previous book numbers 
which was issued. Thus, it can tell if a book is available or not.

3)Submission of a book- The book is submitted along-with the roll number of the student.

4)Logging- A separate log-file (easily readable) is created to keep track of the book transactions. A backup system is also in place to note fake submissions.

5)Administrative Function A- Checking which roll number took a particular book.
6)Administrative Function B- Checking which book a student having a particular roll number took.
7)Administrative Function C-Checking what books are beyond the maximum issue date. The issue date can be set manually. 
  This is one of the most important functions. the defaulters are shown with their roll numbers.
8)Password protected Administrative access- The administrative functions can only be accessed by entering the default password
 by typing it (without any asterisks or black dots showing, like Linux's bash) and then hitting the F12 key. The default password can be obtained 
by contacting the author(bishnu.cert@gmail.com).

This application was made by me to offset the rampant redundancy which is present in  the University library. Though this is a small application 
with only some core features, it can get most of the job done.
